Reporting to the Executive Director for the Stockton Wellness Center, the Associate Director of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) serves as an integral member of the Stockton Wellness Center leadership team who serve a student community of nearly 10,000.
The Associate Director assists the Executive Director with leading, managing and overseeing providing comprehensive mental health outpatient services including not limited to: counseling/psychological services to students of Stockton University at Galloway/Atlantic City campuses in the form of individual and group counseling, distance Counseling/telehealth services (TAO), case consultation, crisis/walk-in, triage, supervision as appropriate, assessments, and assistance for other direct care staff.
The Associate Director will offer supervision to counselors and other activities as assigned by the Executive Director of the Stockton Wellness Center and will develop and implement outreach programs and campus programs in collaboration with other departments, will participate in University events and serve on committees. The incumbent will be actively engaged in professional development, conferences, department and divisional activities, professional associations, and workshops.
