The Office of Event Services & Campus Center Operations is seeking a responsible and motivated individual who can work a flexible daytime/evening/weekend schedule. This position is excellent training for individuals who seek a career in higher education, student affairs or public service. It offers hands-on experience in the following areas: training, supervision, program planning, event management, marketing, facility management, assessment and evaluation.
*Candidates must be enrolled as a Stockton University matriculated Graduate student during the time of employment

Work Hours:

  • Commitment of approximately 15-20 hours weekly
  • July – May; primarily evening hours and weekends; some daytime hours
  • Winter and Spring breaks, as needed
  • Respond to emergency situations, as needed

*Additional $2,000 Osprey Cash offered in increments of $1,000 per semester

The Graduate Coordinator for Campus Center Operations, under overall the supervision of the Associate Director of Event Services and Campus Center Operations and the daily supervision of the Facility Coordinator of Campus Center Programs will be responsible for the following:

Facilities Management

  1. Provide evening and weekend coverage and supervision of the Campus Center.
  2. Respond to, address, and report facility and personnel related conditions and emergencies.
  3. Manage commuter locker and other equipment rentals.
  4. Maintain charging station equipment.
  5. Conduct frequent building rounds and facility/equipment checks for the campus center.

Student Employment

  1. Assist with the daily supervision of undergraduate student staff and provide front-line support in the absence of full-time staff.
  2. Assist the Associate Director by co-facilitating the ESCCO C.R.E.A.T.E.S. student employment board.
  3. Assist with the coordination and implementation of student employment program including: training, assessment, recognition, community service, and teambuilding.
  4. Assist with the student employment recruitment process and participate in applicant interviews.

Programming and Marketing

  1. Conduct and/or manage in-person and/or virtual events.
  2. Assist with the maintenance of social media accounts such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
  3. Assist with the marketing of services and programs offered by the Campus Center and ESCCO.

General Office/Operations Management

  1. Prepare and file event confirmations for Campus Center Operations staff.
  2. Maintain inventories and replenish supplies.
  3. Provide back-up support to the game room and information desk operations as needed.
  4. Assist with customer service assessment/satisfaction surveys.
  1. Attend staff meetings and service provider meetings (i.e. ITS, Catering, event planning meetings).

Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Dean/Director, Associate Director, or Facility Coordinators.


  • Candidates must be enrolled as a full-time Stockton University matriculated Graduate student during the time of employment
  • Earned Bachelor’s degree with prior experience that demonstrates an understanding of leadership and student engagement


  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong sense of professionalism, enthusiasm, flexibility, organization, and self-motivation
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
