The Office of Health Services is seeking a detail oriented and reliable individual to fill a temporary front end position in a medical setting, with a focus on contact tracing. It is excellent training for individuals who seek a career in higher education, Student Affairs, public health, or public service.

This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.

As a condition of employment, you are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. If you are unable to be vaccinated against COVID-19 for medical or religious reasons, or reasons related to a current pregnancy, you may submit a waiver request.  If you are approved for an exemption from the COVID-19 vaccination requirement, you will be required to wear a mask while indoors on campus when you cannot be socially distanced, and you will be required to be tested for COVID-19 by the University on a regular schedule.

  • Perform contact tracing, which includes placing phone calls to newly diagnosed patients and potentially exposed people. 
  • Following a script for interviews and questioning population to remember who they’ve been in close contact with. 
  • Educating contacts on approved protocol to reduce the risk of spread.
  • Collecting and documenting necessary information into Health Record System and database. 
  • Understand symptoms, infectious periods, and treatments, and protect student/patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Know immunization requirements – both Stockton University and the State of New Jersey
  • Enter, scan and verify records in Medicat and the Electronic Health Record system (EHR)
  • Answer the phone and field immunization questions.
  • Transfer appointments and COVID calls to Immunization Clerk or Office Supervisor.
  • Monitor the Wellness Center email account.
  • Print records and respond to immunization questions received via email.
  • Get and process mail daily.
  • File immunization records.
  • Run immunization/compliance reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality to all privileged information.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Office Supervisor, Associate Director, Executive Director, and AVP
