This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.

As a condition of employment, you are required to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccination prior to your start date. The TES – Office Assistant position will assist the Assistant Dean, School of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, in a variety of functions in an academic office including management of data related to courses, schedules, and workload of faculty, assist with student course registration and other student academic services. This is a part-time position limited to 944 hours per calendar year, with negotiable workdays/hours.

 

Under the direction of the Assistant Dean, duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Run reports and prepare Excel spreadsheets of data, conduct comparisons and accuracy checks, basic data analyses
  • Perform calculations and make entries for faculty workload, communicate with faculty to resolve discrepancies
  • Assist with course scheduling, course catalog and bulletin preparation
  • Assist with student services including course registration, student inquiries and concerns
  • Special projects, events and other duties as assigned by Assistant Dean or Dean
  • Support Stockton University’s diversity commitment and strong student-centered vision and mission
  • Experience or training in data management
  • Adept at working with spreadsheets, calculations, and Microsoft Office suite
  • Computer literacy and analytical skills

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in a related area 
  • Knowledge or previous experience with educational data
