We are looking for a part-time project manager for the “Stories of Atlantic City” project. This manager will act as a community organizer and a direct link to the people of Atlantic City.
Stories of Atlantic City is a collaborative project focused on telling restorative, untold stories about the city and its people. Partners on the project include Stockton University, Free Press, Montclair's Center for Collaborative Media, the Press of Atlantic City, and more.
The project manager will work alongside the project leadership team, collaborate on project strategy, coordinate community and media outreach, event planning, and follow-up. The project manager will support creating impact analysis questionnaires to be used at events and various points in the project for data reporting and documentation.
Outcomes and Deliverables of the Part-Time Project Manager: The primary desired outcome is for this position to benefit the people of Atlantic City by strengthening relationships amongst city residents and between community and media partners. This is an opportunity to lift local voices and provide the community with a new platform to tell their own stories. The shared hope is that this project translates into a stronger community, the elevation of untold stories and authentic local perspectives, more responsive news coverage and deeper community investment in local journalism.
This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.
