The Stockton Center on Successful Aging at Stockton University is seeking to fill a Temporary Employment Specialist position to support the programming and reporting duties of our county grants. This position will report directly to the SCOSA Director and assist in the planning, implementation and coordinating of a wide range of older adult education, socialization/recreation, and physical activities.

This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.

Successful candidates will be required to show proof of their COVID-19 vaccine status prior to their start date.  Religious or Medical waivers may be requested at the time of employment offer.

  • Assist in developing, planning, facilitating, and reporting on older adult programming for multiple programs and locations
  • Excellent organizational, communication and customer service skills
  • Outgoing personality and able to comfortably interact with new people in a pleasant manner
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and quarterly leadership team meetings
  • Ability and willingness to drive between locations
  • Assist with monthly E-Newsletter
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; or
  • Two years’ experience in working with older adults; or
  • Two years’ experience working in social, recreation and/or lifelong learning
