This is an in-person on campus, non-remote position.

The GOALS GEAR UP Program is seeking a responsible and motivated individual who is a current Stockton Student for our mentor position.  Mentors are responsible for providing social/emotional support to students in grades 7 through 12 for our Academic Enrichment Program, tentatively scheduled to operate twelve Saturday’s from 8:00am – 2:00pm, October 22nd until May 6th.  This opportunity offers hands on experience in areas of program planning, academic career counseling, developing social media content, engaging middle and high school students, and facilitating college readiness workshops. 

  •  Provide mentorship to students in grades 7 -12
  •  Assist teachers with facilitating lessons
  • Create and facilitate social emotional workshops related to college readiness
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Director and Counselors
  • Candidates must be enrolled at Stockton University as a matriculated undergraduate student during the time of employment
  • Prior experience that demonstrates an understanding of leadership, college readiness and working with potential first-generation students
